Whisky Tango Foxtrot

"What the fuck?"

Based on the police (and military) call sign alphabet where "Whisky" is "W", "Tango" is "T", and "Foxtrot" is "F". For use in situations where swearing would be unwise, such as at work or around minors.

To be used only as an interjection.

It takes two to tango

this cannot happen without more than one person

The reason we came out alive is because we worked together. After all, it takes two to tango.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

Phonetic Alphabet: Originated in the US Navy.
e.g. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and so on..
The expression "cuss like a sailor" made the Navy look unprofessional or so they say-so in an effort to clean up the language used by Officers and Superiors. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot
was adopted and has since then spread to the online community.
This ofcourse is means What The Fuck expressed with more emphasis on the *What the FUCK* of an alarming situation.

Officer: "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot shipmate...Just where do you think your skating off to?"

online gamer: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot...watch your fire!

wiskey tango foxtrot

Code words for WTF, an internet abbreviation that actually stands for "What The F*ck" (WTF..does that mean? ..is he doing? .. etc) If you don't want to refer to the offensive word in mixed company, you state the "code" instead.

In response to an argument that doesn't makes sense:

Wiskey Tango Foxtrot - can you understand what this dude is saying?
