tell me why, the other day i tried so hard to impress shealtiel, but for some reason he still didn't payed me any attention. i felt really stupid afterwards.

who’s going to tell the person about something that is obvious that the subject doesn’t realize

Person 1: “walks out with an ugly outfit”
Person 2 to person 3: “who gon tell her?”

You should tell that at parties.

Sarcastic reply to a lame story or bad joke.

Girl A: "Omg, so I went to the mall today and there was this cool shirt, so I bought it."

Girl B: "wow, you should tell that at parties..."

Great Story Tell it again

Phrase used at the end of someone's obnoxiously horrible story by everyone who heard it, in response to its pure stupidity. Almost always accompanied by claps and said in a chant, so it becomes:

"Grrreeaaaaat Story....Tell itttttt again!" (With one clap for each word)

Person 1: So yesterday I went to go get coffee, and it sounded really delicious, but the coffee shop was closed when I got there.

*Pause*

Everyone listening: "Great Story Tell it again" (chant)

You keep telling yourself that

A response to a possibly false statement that one gives when the party being responded to is certainly deluding themselves. Roughly, "If you keep saying that, you might actually start to believe it".

"The price of gasoline is going to go down tomorrow," quipped Sue. Joe simply responded, "You keep telling yourself that."
