Comedy Central's Indecision

Branding of political campaign coverage on The Daily Show and The Colbert Report mocking that used by "news" media. Another vehicle showcasing the ability of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert to confirm the mediocrity of politicians in a humorous manner that has us laughing so hard that we abandon the idea of storming Washington and state capitals nationwide with torches and pitchforks.

Comedy Central staff announcer: Comedy Central's Indecision is brought to you by Zyrtec.

Show comes back from commercial to Jon Stewart at his desk, a raucous crowd, and the Indecision 2012 logo. Viewers nationwide are pumping their fists in the air.

JS: "Tonight, as part of our continuing Indecision 2012 coverage, Jon Doe said something unbelievably and unforgivably stupid."

TV viewers and studio audience to themselves: "WTF? Again?"

JS: "Have a listen."

Politician at press conference: "I genuinely believe David Letterman is the funniest man on television."

JS starts swelling and wheezing. "Somebody help me! I'm extremely allergic to bulls***!"

TDS Correspondent John Oliver runs onto the set. "I've got the medication Jon! Go long!"

JS gets up from his chair and starts running away from JO, who winds up and throws pill to a diving JS, who catches it, pops it into his mouth.

JO answers phone. "Who is this? Rex Ryan?"

JS: "F***! The Jets have found a decent quarterback!"

JO: "Sorry sir, but I must respectfully decline. The 4 o'clock games conflict with tea."

JS Tebows. Cue the Alleluia Chorus. TV viewers and studio audience laugh hysterically.

Comedy Hot

In comedy scenes across America there are usually only two women. If one of them is more attractive than other she is automatically deemed 'hot.' Even though usually girls who do comedy are decent at best (similar to the New York 6 is a 9 everywhere else)

Sad Comic: Dang, bro. Tina is looking good tonight. I should not ask her out for 3 weeks and just make weird jokes until she tells me to fuck off.
Woke Comic: Nah bruh. She just comedy hot. She like a 5

Black Comedy

(No I am not talking comedy by african-american comics) this kind of comedy is born from taboos and subject matter that crosses the line twice. See New York Post taunt that freight-trained Jared Fogle as social justice warriors and snowflakes along with NoBama got pissed when twitter were hashtagging Five Dollar Footlong as implying it's not exactly a sandwich. This kind of humor is the type that can invoke a fist fight when taunted by bullies as you can imply the jokes about genetic attraction, as in hindsight with a recent article showing up it's a bit 'grosser than gross' in hindsight. I employed this kind of humor when engaging Eric Hovind on Creation Science Evangelism back in 2014 where I made a grisly one implying that the megalodon shark was in the water with Noah's Floating Zoo and one of the animals fell in the water when the fin was breaking the surface of the water. Or you can also use the film Carnosaur to illustrate human-dinosaur co-existence really looks like as I coined this "The Corman Retort."

The author of Gulliver's Travels is one of the your examples of black comedy with the piece "A Modest Proposal" as he might had inspired Edgar Allan Poe with his satire output, Holden's Counterpart has tons of black comedy examples as the self-depreciation using the Italian slurs. The Fandom Writer was also my first approach with grim humor with dark horror elements.

comedy vulture

A person, corporation, etc. who uses quotes, sayings, or memes long after they have become unfunny

Person 1: Dude, did you hear about that comedian who went on last night?
Person 2: Yeah. Total comedy vulture.
Person 1: I know, right? I mean, all he did was quote dumb, popular shows and memes from fucking 2009!
Person 2: Yeah. Crap like him is why I don't attend comedy shows.
