The Lawson Effect

A girl, who does not want a relationship, but wants the 'benefits' of a relationships - i.e. money, taken out for meals, etc. However, she does not want to be tied down to one man/sexual partner. This is more than a 'fuck buddy' but less than a full blown relationship (i.e. still will not swallow).

The female will see a guy, Mr. A, on a regular basis, but occassionally on a Friday/Saturday night, will hook up with another guy(s) for 'special time' - a.k.a. The Lawson Effect.

The desire to ravage a girl due simply to her small size, and nothing else.

When something makes you rofl, or roll on the floor laughing.

Best used nowhere.

That guy just made a hilarious joke and everyone burst into tears laughing....that's the ROFL Effect

Trinity Effect

Strong character who was then REDUCED to becoming an incapable plot device needing the opposite sex to be validated in future incarnations in various media..
EXAMPLE: Trinity in the MATRIX TRILOGYDICTIONARY...

MATRIX TRILOGY uses the Trinity Effect by reducing the characture Trinity to a weak character to move the effective plot device.

Icarus Effect

Refers to college freshman who have never tried Fireball foolishly thinking that they can have more than is actually safe despite the warnings of well-meaning upperclassmen.

Reference to the story of Icarus and Daedalus, in which Icarus, despite his father telling him not to fly close to the sun, does so anyway, thinking himself invincible. The wax holding his wings together melts, and he plummets to his doom.

In both tales, a very naïve person ends up near death on the floor.

"Oh my god dude is Trevor okay?"
"No man he didn't listen to me about the Fireball and now he's totally under the Icarus effect"

Its when a guy is really polite and nice to girls and treats them like a queen.
