Think of him as a lesser version of Dr Dre. Kanye West is a fresh breeze of air into hip-hop. He brings a new flavor and an ability to sample like no other producer in the world. Through the Wire is something that should touch anybody that can even consider being in his postion. I mean did you see the pictures of the accident. It is a blessing he's alive and kicking out beats.
Without Kanye, would Jay still be hot, and would Twista even popped off!!

One of a very few rapper/producer/writers in the hip hop business who actually create good worth listening music. He's the reason for two great albums. 'The College Dropout' and 'Late Registration'. All songs from start to back all made and produced by Kanye. Seems to be hated for reasons I still have no clue why? Maybe because of the things he said about George W Bush on live Television. But this guy is the best out there in this day and age.
