active voice

This is a grammar term that pseudo-intellectuals claim needs to be adhered to in all circumstances. Yet, there are a multitude of circumstances in which the passive voice would be clearer to the listen/reader and would make more sense to use.

Normal voice

Exactly what it says on the tin. A normal voice is a person who's accent doesn't define who they are. The definition is that the person speaking sounds 'normal'. Unlike scouser, a farmer, someone from Belfast.

Jordan: Hey! How u doin?
Rachel: Wow Jordan, you have such a normal voice!
