It also doesn't help that there were allegations about in-game censorship and spyware during the game's early days, further souring its reputation. Its gacha system is also a point of contention in the West, due to its luck-based nature that is similar to gambling.

1. It may be seemingly a breath of the wild ripoff but it does have a unique plot. The lore is so complicated I can't keep it all straight.
2. Yes, it is a gacha game, but at least it's free to play and doesn't have fucking ads.
3. Just because there are children does not mean that someone who plays as a child is a pedophile. The children are platonically adorable so shut up.
4. I play Genshin and I not only have a life but serious aspirations for the future, thank you very much.
The only thing that is remotely cringe about this game is probably the developers' obvious fear of melanin. Besides that, this game is actually good. Fight me.
