Probably the rarest hallucinogen available today; as illegal as heroin. Gives a short, intense trip in which the user feels extremely elated and may experience hallucinations and a body high similar to that given by shrooms, but is not disoriented and is able to speak and carry on conversations. Trips last from 5-30 minutes depending on the amount ingested (it is usually smoked). After the trip, the user feels ecstatic and elevated for hours. The high afterward is absolutely unmatchable. It is difficult to become addicted to DMT since it is so hard to find and has no addictive properties.
It is speculated that DMT is the chemical your brain releases in copious amounts during near-death experiences and at the time of death.
After I tripped on DMT I was too psyched on life to sleep.

A subgenre of rap that is used to describe works, that have been created in a post 2020 world in response to a spiritual exploration throughout the pandemic. Works in the genre are often created after psychedelic drug usage.
Person 1:"Hey have you heard of dmt rap?"
Person 2:"Ye ofc, it's a very interesting genre to say the least!"
Psychedelic drug induced experience brought about through the consumption of Dimethyltryptamine(DMT). The term was coined by the late writer and activist Terrance Kemp McKenna who decribed it as a psychedelic underground space to which the DMT user may be transported. This so called 'space' is aparrently inhabited by beings who McKenna decribes as 'self transforming machine elves'. According to McKenna and the accounts of some users, the beings interact with users while they are under the affect of the drug, attempting to communicate visually through gestures and signals. McKenna describes the dome as the most incredible of all his pyschedelic experiences.
