To work hard, and own up to one's self-mistakes. Basically, changing their lazy actions and start working themselves.
Ethan forgot his homework again!? He needs to start applying himself and now!
a regular story, except you apply to become one of the author's characters. you kind of make an OC for the author. if they like him/her enough, they'll put them in their story. they'll probably give you an app, cheatsheet, and plotlines which you can base your character off of. then you just fill in the app and you're set!
I made a Produce 101 apply fic ! Who wants to join?

Phil: How bad is it?
Steve: Well... He started his journey at Bank of America and now he's at Taco Bell.
Phil: Shit, thats pretty bad.

Aren’t you annoyed by John always showing up late?
No I just apply the discount.

"I hate dogs, and I'm allergic to cats; however, I need a job so bad I fib applied at PETCO."
"I can't fib apply at UPS. They can tell by looking at me that picking up packages over 30lbs doesn't come naturally."
