streets behind

Uncool or unhip; behind the times. As seen on the TV show "Community."

Pierce: "Streets ahead" is verbal wildfire.
Annie: Does it just mean "cool," or is it supposed to be like "miles ahead?"
Pierce: *sigh* If you have to ask, you're streets behind.

behind bars

Imprisoned, particularly inside a jail cell (usually the type with vertical metal bars that keep inmates from escaping).

That criminal should be behind bars!

Left behind

Leading a hedonistic and/or narcissistic lifestyle that would result in one being "left behind" when the alleged christian rapture allegedly happens and all the alleged "good" christians are taken to an alleged heaven. Thus leaving behind all the people not desired by the alleged christian alleged god.

Dan: Babe, you are so going to get left behind with that attitude.
Michelle: You mean with all the cool people?
Dan: Um, ya. Never thought about it like that before.

Leave-Behind

When someone "casually" leaves an object or article of clothing in the home of a person they have just randomly slept with - thereby ensuring that they have an excuse to see this person again. Traditionally, the girl who just got slammed leaves her panties behind as a souveneer for the one who pleased her properly. panty, panties, boxers, bra, souveneer, wet panties, panties, her bra's on my ceiling fan now

I had to do another leave behind for Christine this time; because she kept my pajama tops last time as she cooed and said, they "smell like you" (oh yea , , ,).

Donna left her black g-string panties behind at my house, and George thought he should get them because he brought her over ! ! ! - - - ha!

A sweet Leave-Behind for the "Spoiler".

One night, I saw some dainty pink panties and a small bath towel on the sidewalk at Lake George! I think they were either a leave-behind, or a whicked gag.

behind the camera

'Behind the Camera' refers to anyone in a film or TV show who is or was actively involved in the production of the feature, but who does not appear on screen; 'in front of the camera'. It is a term used to refer to those 'behind the scenes' exclusively.

It can also mean the director or camera men, who are literally behind the camera.

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest had top name people behind the camera, like Jerry Bruckheimer.
