BTEC business is some dead college/sixth form course.To be honest at first it seems easy and interesting but then it just gets boring and really you feel as if its pointless.Its basically a rubbish version of business studies.
The official definition of "BTEC" is The BTEC (Business and Technology Education Council) Level 3 diploma is a Further Education qualification and vocational qualification taken in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The qualification is organised and awarded by Pearson within the BTEC brand and it is equivalent to A-Levels. It is equivalent to the GCE A Levels, more specifically to three A2 awards (when studying for the BTEC Extended Diploma) and the AVCE

Looked down upon in society, especailly by those in the 'Tansey' clan, a typical BTEC class is filled with A level rejects, alcoholics, chain smokers and wierdo's. Such an environment is extremely loud and it's more than a miricle that any level of productivity is achieved.
A normal BTEC student is unmotivated, avoids work where ever possible, lacks cash, enjoys playing cards during dinner breaks and spends many hours in 'the refectory'

A vocational qualification that is extremely demanding and demoralising by consisting of too much coursework that is difficult to pass due to a demanding mark scheme. It is being phased out by UAL, OCR and other vocational qualifications.
Person 1: "I can't believe I passed BOTH my exams at distinction, yet my coursework is all capped at a pass."
Person 2: "Typical BTEC."
