The glorification of basic stories into a few exaggerated lines that make up a headline. It leads to the act of someone just reading the headlines of news stories, and needing just that to get a, mostly false, understanding of the story.
I just read the headlines and now I have a general fear of the world, I'm a headline porn addict.
Someone who only reads the news headline without reading the full story and believes they know the full story.

A term used when someone is jaded or jealous of the person of topic.
The politician was annoyed at the other candidate's higher media ratings, he called it headline porn.
Usually said by someone not getting enough head 'time' , clearly..
