Jpop purist are fan that think jpop should be in certain style and music. Jpop purist will reject all element of kpop in jpop music scene and think they are not deserve the fame in jpop music industry. While japanese ppl like Kpop and Kpop itself is very popular in japan. Most of jpop purist are international fan that doesnt know what is popular in japan and what japanese like. They insist of jpop should stick to traditional way and retain distinct jpop music style refusing to evolve to other music style. Music cross border, nation and culture now. This thing cant be stop. Just like the flow of time.

A person who does not believe in the absolute purity or strict adherence to any particular doctrine, philosophy, or set of laws or rules. A person who believes that there are exceptions to almost every rule and that even differing philosophies can be combined to produce the best possible results.
Person A: Don't you believe in capitalism?
Person B: Not without at least some regulation.
Person A: Then, you're not a true capitalist.
Person B: I prefer to think of myself as an anti-purist.
A Metal Purist doesn't necessarily favor one genre of metal over another. They aren't like metal elitists.. The difference between a metal purist and a MetalHead is the fact that Metalheads will also allow core to be called Metal, where as a Metal Purist realizes the difference between the 2 separate genre's backgrounds. For instance core is a music genre fusing elements of hardcore punk and various forms of electronic music. Where as Metal has its roots from blues rock and psychedelic rock. A Metal Purist realizes the difference between the 2 genres and will defend the Metal name against people who try to infuse the 2 genres. Hence the name PURE.

Someone who not only believes that anime can only be produced in Japan, but also tries, in any way possible, to eliminate the idea that anime can be produced outside of Japan.
I had no idea he was such an anime purist. We were just talking about anime, when I brought up the topic of American anime. Next thing I know, the guy broke my nose.

Someone who is an Apple fanboy and believes that Apple products should not be adulterated; no third party cases, jailbreaks or non-approved accessories.
You know those Apple purists, they hate people doing anything different to their iPhone's.

Did you see that Turkey Purist video his turkey kill in selfie mode again? He made sure to let you know he smoked his cigar for thirty minutes after his “mystical experience in the woods” too.
Someone, who in the middle of a conversation happening via text in discord will destroy the flow of the conversation and link to the off topic channel, because they deem the subject matter to not be worthy of existence in the general text channel.
