A subset of the psychological diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (P.T.S.D.) caused specifically by corporate culture’s unrelenting need for every fucking thing to be delivered “as soon as possible” (A.S.A.P.), without any fucking regard to what is reasonable, thus creating a withering climate of perpetual panic & psychological breakdown.
VP Marketing: “Where the fuck are my product renders.”
Art director: “Dave is working on that. He is on no sleep & his 7th coffee this morning. We are on it.”
VP Marketing: “I asked for them two days ago & I present in Paris in Wednesday. I NEED those hero shots now!”
Art Director: “I understand, & you will get them today. Phil needed the packaging colors addressed & bumped the renders - sorry.”
VP Marketing: “I don’t care about packaging. Let me talk to Dave. If you can’t manage your team, I will.”
Art Director: “Dude - Dave is this close to serious A-S-A-P-T-S-D, and is threatening to quit. Let me handle this.”
The disease-like condition when you start gaining romantic feelings for a tease (typically women) who openly flirts with everyone for his/her own personal benefit (AKA, an attention whore). S Tease D's can be very serious and can last for days or even years. There is no cure for an S Tease D but there are treatments. Treatments include strip club patronizing, booty calls, introductions and conversations with new prospecting individuals, and social avoidance of the infecting party.
I don't know why anybody would want to go out with her. She only gives guys S tease D's.
S, short for suck and D, short for dick. Literally means, to suck on (or off) the male private part belonging to the current day. More commonly, it is an metaphorical expression that defines ones disinterest toward the necessary tasks or obligations (work, school, studying, hw) one must complete in the day afoot. Usually a mental note to self, as opposed to a statement.
Everyday I wake up to my crappy life, with my crappy dead end job, drink a cup of crappy bobo brand coffee and sigh (thinking, time to S today's D)
