Selfing

verb - when a person acts for one’s self and/or one’s people as best one can with the tools available with neither selfless or selfish intentions thereby removing positive and negative connotations from the choices made and thereby creating a third option which takes relativism into account. Selfing is the process by which one pursues their personal and community well-being while functioning in social and physical life that does not ignore large and same scale ethical challenges as one tries to do the best they can with the tools available to them.

Ex1: “It blows my mind how much I've said no to people who've asked me to help with things or give them things these last few months but selfing like this has helped me get back to who I was before I got into that bad relationship."

Ex2: “Yeah I’m selfing right now with all the money I'm saving from my job and budgeting to stay on top of things so my living situation is almost at the point where I’ll never have to worry about not having a place to stay ever again and I’m even getting a good work/life balance; if my parents would just stop calling me every single day, every other is enough mom. ”

Ex3: "Sometimes I can't believe I keep the rent paid, the utilities and internet connected, food on my family's table and my medical insurance up to date and can still go out and have fun with my job and budget while I navigate the confusing world of end stage capitalism and try and find a balance within my ethics and but I think I'm being pretty decent at selfing so far.”

self-knowledge/knowledge of self

cosmological/higher-self-knowledge or knowledge of self derived by deep introspection, uninhibited creative self-expression or spiritual work and study commonly employing the practice of meditation, the use of marijuana/ganja as holy sacrament or the shamanic use of psychedelic drugs to attain deeper inter-dimensional spiritual insight into the nature and character of one's esoteric essence and the latent capabilities thereof

The concept of self-knowledge or knowledge of self has been propagated by numerous sources over the ages: we have the Egyptian-schooled Greek's aphorism "know thyself", the notion of knowledge of self spoken of in Islamic teachings based off the Koran passage, "He who knows himself knows God," and then there is the popular use of the term "self-knowledge" that was reportedly introduced into hip-hop culture by the Five Percenters (a splinter faction of the Nation of Islam founded by Clarence 13X, a former student of Malcolm X) that became known as the fifth element of hip-hop among the other four (1. graffiti, 2. MCing, 3. b-boying/girling, 4.DJing).

Blessed with the wisdom of self-knowledge/knowledge of self ol' boy be spitting some conscious shit.

Self-aggrandising

Self-aggrandising is what people who have got fuck-all going for them do. It means boasting about yourself and your abilities, telling everyone how wonderful you are, broadcasting copious quantities of bullshit thickly overlaid with FIGJAM. Normal people exposed to the effects of some self-aggrandising nonentity usually experience attacks of acute nausea followed by the need to get as far away as possible from the source irritation.

Malcolm you are a self-aggrandising WOFS with the mental capacity of a demented amoeba.

Self-guilt

Self-guilt is the act of feeling all the guilt on one's ownself. It can also be intentionally, putting yourself down on purpose. Self-guilt can also lead to depression, and sometimes even suicide.

I hate how I let him down, I feel the self-guilt.

Ed - A zero.

Ned - What?!
