someone who drives Chevys, drinks Budweiser, listens to Nickelback, votes Republican, and basically does absolutely NO thinking on their own, at all, just does/thinks/believes what advertising/media tells them.
My sister just got her third Dachsund and of course named it a people name: Charles; total lame yuppie-wannabe. And then Carl just bought a pickup truck, and of course it's a Chevy, his fourth one, cause he's an "All American", like the commercials tell him. He also had Nickelback blasting when he pulled up in it, and had a case of shitty Budweiser beer in the truck. God, my sister and my friend are both such a couple of simpletons.

An incredibly stupid person. Usually found attempting to write a scathingly sarcastic comment and then misspelling the simple words in it. Also one who misspells swear words.
She attempted to call a lady in Wal-Mart a fat bitch who yells at her poor kids except she wrote porr and bich. What a simpleton!!

When you dog the boys a countless number of times for coochie.
The blonde-haired boy dogged the boys because every time we go out he decides to get his dick wet instead of kicking back with the boys, he is now and forever will be branded a simpleton.
Any individual who has an intelligence below yours. Usually used to described bums, uncomplicated and simple individuals, along with a great majority of the female population.
Why are these simpletons unable to understand non complex ideas such as me being better than them?

Different from the older usage, the newer usage of the term refers to people to over-simplify every concept.
Just like there is Asperger's that is a functional version of autism, a simpleton is a functional version of the idea of an "idiot-savant." A person who can be very smart but also over-simplifies everything.
