Toit

Every time you hear "tight", there are many definitions. Some are that tight is like "these pants are to tight", or like "that wave was TIGHT". Both of those are very different. Now there is a different Tight! But when you say it, it must sound like toit (t-oy-t). This toit means like a sexy, blossoming person. Mostly you call someone toit becuase they are shining in the croud.

Toit nups

'toit nups' was used in season five episode six of police sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Amy Santiago and Jake Peralta use this phrase to describe the events at the wedding. 'toit' can also be said as tight and 'nups' is a synonym of wedding. Simply this means that they are describing the wedding as going to be cool and fun.

Touch (toit)

The Irish Gaelic word for 'cigarette', which is "toitรญn", gets shortened to "toit" in coversation, which is pronounced exactly like the English word "touch".

So non-Irish speakers get alarmed when they hear the line, "Do you want to go out for a touch?"

"You goin' out for a toit?"

"Aye, why not."
