Similar to "woot". From old games played on a keyboard, in which the left hand was used for typing, and the right for movement/control. After scoring a kill and trying to get away, it's easier to just type "weet" with one hand, rather than reach for other letters (with one or both hands).

Some may describe weet as a mix of woot and leet.
However, it is really the basis sound in grunge bands/music.
Because in fact, grunge bands do not use lyrics, contrary to popular belief.
They simply weet.
How to:
