The clothes at the so called "punk" section at supre. It consists of hot pink and black mini skirts and tight sleevless tops that have things like "Drop Dead Gorgeous Guilty Bad Punk Rocker" writen across them in an old style font. Mostly worn by supre sluts with nothing better to do than disgrace the name of punk by showing their cleavage and asses.
Supre slut 1: Aw my gawsh! I can be a punk AND still dress like a whore! Check out my hot pink and black skull patterned mini!
Supre Slut 2: That is so puff and punke!

Punks are generally people who listen to punk music which has now become a wide category but whos to say that ONLY bands like the Casualties and the Sex Pistols are punk?
Punk isn't only defined by music but by attitude. Its often expressed by their clothing but many people without a retro spiked jacket and Mohawks are considerably punk. Being punk is being hard in you ways. This DOSNT mean ur a stupid jerk. Just means you know what you like and want and your not gonna just follow the grade, "go with the flow", or take any shit.
Punks= Anarchists? Cause the government gives us shit and controls us, punks don't take shit and do things they way they want so naturally anarchy is appealing.
Punks aren't to be labeled. Punk isn't a fashion statement or just a genre of music. Its a state of mind and a way of life.

Punk is not a way you look, it's a state of mind. It's not mohawks and DIY Jackets. Typical Street Punk clothing may include mohawks, liberty spikes, combat boots, bondage pants (usually plaid), and leather or denim jackets. The MOST important thing I will tell you is just because you have a mohawk, doesn't mean you're punk. I myself had a mohawk, but I did it for idols(Tim Armstrong, Lars Frederiksen, etc) not for fashion. Punk is truly a mindset of independence. The freedom America provides should let us do anything, Anarchy if you will. No stereotypes are true. 'A punk has a mohawk and wears combat boots,' Henry Rollins from the legendary Hardcore Punk band 'Black Flag' is very simplistic. Once again punk is not a fashion, but a mindset.
Person 1: Look at that guy! He's doing whatever he wants to!
Person 2: That's pretty punk.
LATER
Person 1: That guy is abiding by the rules, but he's got these huge spikes on his leather jacket.
Person 2: Poser punk.

a subculture started in the 70's, originating from either the United States or the United Kingdom. similar in some aspects to the hippy movement of the 60's and early 70's. commonly confused with emo, metal heads, skins, and goths. punk has developed it's own genre of music known as punk rock. this genre is commonly confused with emo music, gothic rock, pop rock, metal, other headbanging music, and music by groups or individual artists claiming to be punks. another misconception is that punk is based on fashion. while the punks have developed an image similar to what is generally referred to as punk fashion, the movement is rather based on ideas and messages suck as liberalism and anarchy. the movement has recently been in decline, as more corporations such as hot topic, and various goods distributors seem to be in a sense buying the bands and icons in order to increase the sale of their products
the mohawk and spikes don't make the punk. the punk makes the mohawk and spikes

Originally, jail lingo for a subservient, cuckolded inmate indebted to another for protection and in return obliged to perform favors both of a sexual nature and otherwise.
The term came to refer to the music and culture described above as young musicians and people in the late 70's and early eighties felt alienated by the incorporation of formerly anti-estaplishment hippie culture.
"Listen fish I didn't make sure Big Mink didn't shiv ya at mess for nothing. So now you better put on these pantyhose and get yo knees dirty right quick cuz you MY punk now, Betty..."

1. A "punk" was originally a tramp's young homosexual companion. In other words, a rent boy with no ethics.
It then mutated in meaning, via an insult connoting the same, to become a term for a ruffian (mid 20th century). It was in this sense it was used in Punk Rock from 1976 onwards.
2. TRUE: Someone who does what he or she wants because they like doing it, and not giving a fuck about what other people think.
3. FALSE: Someone who can't think for themselves, so imitates people from category 2 above, in an attempt to look kewl.
1. Punk was the English term for the French Apache - see George Orwell's Down & Out in Paris and London for details.
2. The most truly Punk thing that Johnny Rotten did was to quit the Sex Pistols and form PIL.
3. Busted were fake punks, who have now thankfully split up.
