Cyber Delusion

The whole thing is a philosophical experiment within a sociological experiment within a virtual experiment within your own little delusion of "the collective" while you are alone in your room typing to an electronic box on your desk...

...of your delusional interaction with other chat members, who are merely different aspects of your mind...personified into compartmentalized "others"...

... yet they are simply preprogrammed chat icons responding to your delusional grasp of having a conversation...

These people in this chatroom sure have their cyber delusion on.

delusion squasher

Someone has delusions, of grandeur, of being an artist, of being captain of the universe, etc., then whomever presents reality over and over until the delusion has been eliminated.

Once Oscar realized he wasn't an artist and his video game playing was vastly overrated in his mind, he stopped calling his mother a dream squasher and realized she was a delusion squasher, and that he had to get a real job

The Big Delusion

The set of beliefs of the Americans in 2020 who follow Hate Media. The Big Delusion is the result of 3 decades of Rush Limbaugh and others on conservative radio, 25 years of Fox News, a decade of hateful social media and the rise of an immoral political party dominated by Donald Trump. These beliefs include thinking the 2020 presidential election was stolen, the Coronavirus pandemic was a hoax or at least dishonestly overblown, that Democrats are inherently bad people who want communism, the mainstream media is corrupt and dishonest, that darker-skinned people are unsafe and inferior and that their like-minded community, and all that they stand for, is under assault.

After years of trying to talk sense into Gil, I've concluded he is an unsalvageable victim of the Big Delusion. I knew he was on the road to crazy when he was consuming so much Rush Limbaugh in the 1990's, but there wasn't much I could do about it then, and nothing I can do about it now. A mind ruined. It's so sad.

420 delusion

A condition that causes somebody to notice the number 420 everywhere.

Though the subject usually doesn't openly associate the occurrences with supernatural or exterior forces (though he may joke about it), there persist at least a doubt or even a strong belief in the his mind that all the occurrences of the number 420 cannot be accidental.

420 delusion:

"Man, it's becoming worse. It's everywhere. I checked the deadline for my application to the University of Tokyo and it was Dec 10, 4:20 pm. Then somebody texts me to tell me the US just won the game against Russia in the Olympics in Sochi and the game just ended: I check the time here: 4:20 am. I google the time in Sochi, Russia: 4:20 pm. I'm telling you, it's a fucking conspiracy."

"Ahah, I know. Wait what was the score?"

"4-2 :o why?

I meant 3-2 sorry"

"wtf u did that on purpose"

"no"

"man..."

delusion of trollism

Someone that thinks that they are the best at trolling people online and think they can wear that mantle with pride.

Weirdtown is a cesspit of individuals with an over inflated delusion of trollism, i reckon it will be a medical condition one day!
