For most of the 1900s, African Americans faced harsh discrimination and segregation against people that were of the white race.

Workplace discrimination is based on the belief that some people are better at some types of work than others. This is not solely attributable to employers but can be present in members of the workforce as well. It can be based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, physical or mental disability, age, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Differences in earnings or the work carried out which come from differences in qualifications or responsibilities are not due to workplace discrimination. Workplace discrimination can be intended and involve unfair treatment of the people in a particular group or be unintended, yet still create unfavourable impact for that group.
While it may be due to ignorance, prejudice and stupidity this does not excuse it and it should be corrected. If it is deliberate and planned discrimination against a particular group it can be the sign of a toxic workplace so best find a new job, you may be next.

2. Teasing the formation of someone's face in a judgemental fashion.
Bully: oi your nose should be around 0.362 millimetres to the left!
Victim: Wow stop looking at me so closely pervert, ooh and that's facial discrimination (thanks pengueleon for that new word you're so cool and you should get word of the week.)

The modelling agency turned down her application because they said she was not pretty enough. This is one case of facial discrimination.

When you are among a large group of people (Usually people you don't know, like at school or a train station or a store) and suddenly the air becomes occupied by a nasty odour.
The act of "smell discrimination" comes into play when you decide by the people who surround you and their physical appearance/demeanour, who it is that created the disgusting smell.
(In a store)
Guy 1: "Dude, something smells like rotten eggs. I think it was that fat hairy guy over there" *Points*
Guy 2: "That's smell discrimination! It could have just as easily been that hot girl in the pink tank top!"
