Mayweather Exception

A loophole that protects a very narrow subset of athletes and celebrities from the typical criticism, judgement, backlash most would experience following transgressions such as: racially insensitive or anti-LGBT comments, criminal activity, drug or alcohol abuse, rampant promiscuity, flaunting/squandering of wealth, involvement in altercations, etc.

This loophole is granted only to select few individuals who have, over time, built such a negative and illustrious resume of actions, behaviors, statements, etc. that they are seen as too far gone and disconnected, unaffected by backlash, insane or delusional, or not worth attacking

Examples include: Floyd Mayweather Jr., Charlie Sheen, Eminem, Lenny Dykstra, Courtney Love

(coined by sportswriter/blogger named Jeremy Morris in 2017)

Floyd Mayweather yet again showed us all why he’s the ultimate Mayweather Exception guy with that response. He’s clearly never heard of the MeToo movement but managed to answer the question by talking about a couple of his million dollar cars.

Courtney Love was hammered trying to parallel park on the sidewalk on TMZ but she’s definitely earned the Mayweather Exception as far as drinking/drug use so no ones really surprised. Imagine if Taylor Swift was drunk driving on TMZ. Twitter would crash.

A more politically correct way to call someone retarded.

Rob Ford was a... *remembers he's in polite company* ... er, an exceptional individual.

Milgram's exception

The Milgram experiment was a series of seminal social psychology experiments conducted by Yale University psychologist Stanley Milgram, which measured the willingness of study participants to obey an authority figure who instructed them to perform acts that conflicted with their personal conscience.

In Milgram's first set of experiments, 65 percent of experiment participants administered the experiment's final 450-volt shock, though many were very uncomfortable doing so; at some point, every participant paused and questioned the experiment, some said they would refund the money they were paid for participating in the experiment.

NO PARTICIPANT STEADFASTLY REFUSED TO ADMINISTER SHOCKS BEFORE THE 300-VOLT LEVEL.

Student 1 : Wow that took some guts! Carla sure knows how to stand up to the 'ol prof

Student 2 : yeah, a real Milgram's exception if I ever saw one...

exception to the rule

A person who no matter the situation or risk will beat the odds. A person that always proves you wrong, weather its a dangerous person holding a gun to his face and (while laughing) unarms the person, An Exception to the Rule falls off a derrick and breaks his back and still gets back up and walks, works, and party's harder than any other motherfucker in the world. The Exception to the Rule will drink you under the table and not have a hangover. The Exception to the Rule will have a stroke and not go to the hospital but still be able to get up in the morning to take his son to school displaying no effects from the otherwise debilitating physical event. The Exception to the Rule will be the person to explain freedom from tyranny after suffering more than most in the world could ever understand, and then give you a true and honest solution to the problem and create a world wear all people are truly free and safe. The Exception to the Rule will always keep his word, will always prove you wrong. The Exception to the Rule is the type of person who should be the President of the United States of America, The Exception to the Rule is the type of person you will remember and tell stories of to your children and your children's children will tell stories of. The Exception to the Rule is your true best friend, the ultimate lover, an amazing father and son, he is the light in darkness and mind of an artist and warrior all at the same time never relenting and always sharp as a tack.

Wow that man is truly an exception to the rule!

okay except for

A quick response to a question about one's well being during the presidency of Donald J. Trump. It acknowledges living in frightful times while attempting to move ahead with life.

Pete: "Hey, how's it going?"
Brian: "Okay except for."
Pete: "Trump?"
Brian: "Yeah, how about you?"
Pete: "Same here. I'm okay except for."

cunnilingus exception

If you're a male who decides to stay abstinent until either marriage or a committed relationship, the exception made to only engage in cunnilingus (oral stimulation on the female genitalia) as a form of erotic foreplay or as an alternative to sex.
This may seem highly hypocritical to many people since "oral sex" is viewed as being just as intimate as vaginal intercourse, but the idea is keeping your own private area "pure" until you have either met the right person and/or have gotten married.
The cunnilingus exception is not for everyone, but it is a personal lifestyle choice that a few people (including myself) have made. This can also be for religious, spiritual, or philosophical reasons.

The cunnilingus exception is like "having your cake and eating it too". Pun intended. :-)
