Rock Hierarchy

The Rock Hierarchy consists of several bands that are the Rulers of Rock. The Gods of rock are Led Zeppelin. The Lords of Rock are AC/DC. There are two main Kings of Rock. These are David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix. The Dukes of Rock are The Who. Finally, there are the Kights of Rock. These are Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, and The Doors

"Hey, have you heard about the Rock Hierarchy?"
"Is that like Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan? They kick ass. They taught me how to be punk."
(Members of the Rock Hierarchy would now either come back from the dead OR swoop down on this person and douse them in acid.)

Nerd Hierarchy

Nerd Hierarchies usually exist in a group of Star Trek Geeks. The levels are organized by knowledge of Trek. The leader is sometimes called the "captain" and is looked up to for advice. These groups of nerds often make up their own starships, such as "USS Valor" and write fanfiction and scripts that will go woefully unpublished.

Captain Warner is at the top of our local hierarchy.

Maslow's hierarchy of needs

A pyramid of human needs created by Maslow. It explains the needs of humans from the basics to the complex.

1st: Physical Survival Needs- Water, Food, Shelter, Sleep, Health, Sex
2nd: Safety and Security- Physical Safety, Economic Security, Freedom From Threats, Comfort
3rd: Social Needs- Acceptance, Group Membership, Association, Love
4th: Self Esteem- Important Projects, Recognition of Strengths and Intelligence, Prestige and Status
5th: Need for Self-Actualization- Challenging Projects, Opportunities for Innovation and Creativity, Learning

High Schoolers and young adults have a very hard experience trying to maintain 3 in Maslow's hierarchy of needs and above because most parents hate their kids. Most parents, on the other hand, raise their self esteem and feel accomplished when they shit on their kids lives.
