A dog owner walking his dog through a park in which there are many people in Islamic dress knows that many Muslims consider dogs filthy. He may experience a hijab stab.
AS a gay man, I experienced yet another hijab stab today when approached by a burka clad woman.

When Muslim women wear hijab so that they will be able to strategically infiltrate fundy circles (those who are more observant and will only perhaps take hijabi women seriously) to advance issues of social justice and gender equity.
