Just like school in July

In American term-times, July is the time when children don't have school. Thus someone who's just like school in july has no class.

"Dude you're just like school in July: no class."

just like a bought one

Said just on completion of fixing or enhancing an item up to a standard that could be bought or purchased from a shop. Often has a tone of slight sarcasm regarding the fixed or enhanced item.

After fixing the broken chair leg with gaffa tape, Bob proudly said "Just like a bought one"...

I just like the song

the defense you use when someone calls you out after you post a facebook status (works best if they're song lyrics) so blatantly about someone. most likely with whom you have just had a falling out with. this is a very combative strategy because in one phrase you can both deny being weak and also make your opponent seem self absorbed.

Josh: I saw what you just posted about me on facebook. you can't even say it to my face.
Sonia: who said it was about you?! i just like the song....
