Yngwie Malmsteen is a guitarist. He plays fucking fast as hell, but his music is terrible.
Yngwie is pretty fast, but Steve Vai fucking buries him.

Malmsteen is not the greatest guitarist, in fact his music can be downright difficult to sit through. He has talent, no doubt, and his best work is when he is playing classical, which he does better than anyone. Refer to satriani for the best guitarist, whose music has meaning and is not just loud noise.
Yngwie Malmsteen is a waste of talent, and his annoying solos suck.

Guitarist that likes to play for way to long and takes up some of Satch and Vai's time.
Man, I went to G3 amd Yngwie Malmsteen took so long that Satch and Vai were only on for 10 minutes.

Yngwie Malmsteen, the extremely fast virtuoso, listened to hendrix, one of his inspiration. He got into 100 best solos....but only one song
Hes not very creative at writing tabs but the solo in "black star" got into 100

Swedish guitarist and COMPOSER who is literally light years ahead of all the dumbed-down, power-chord limited MORONS out there and in here, who have not the intelligence or SOUL to recognize the Yngwie writes the greatest pieces and songs, so far superior to their little gimmick-laden tin gods, Vai and Satch, that their pathetic little minds can't wrap around even a fraction of the genius. And that he plays with INFINITELY more feeling and emotion, despite the vastly superior speed and technique - these morons think that effort and strain = emotion. They have not a clue about classical music and virtuosity.
So they say he sucks and his music is masturbation. Easy cop out for a bunch of talentless, brainless little worms!

An amazingly fast 80's metal guitarist who's hair is too long. Play's lots of arpeggio's and insanely fast riffs. He's not the best guitarists in the world but atleast he didn't die at 27 from a 'drug overdose'
