The Posse

A group of immensely cool people, who often have a few tag alongs who aren't as cool and sometimes have their own sidekicks, like ulrik, or Gandhi. The main difference between The Posse and a Posse is that anyone can be a part of a posse, where entry to The Posse is limited.

Guy 1: Dude, I'm in the posse!
Guy 2: Me too man!
Guy 3: Damnit, the posse turned me down. I always wanted myself an ulrik.
Or
Person 1 : I heard the posse are coming to america
Person 2 : Really omg!? wow imma go see them
Person 3 : i dont have a moustache so i cant go :(
Person 4 : i bought the blow up ulrik last friday

posse

A gang of armed men organized by the sheriff to aid in hunting down an outlaw, mostly in the Old West.

Posse

Noun / Plural -

β€’ A group of Opossums.

*Replaces the former animal grouping term β€œpassel” of possums because it just sounds like shit.

(Didelphis virginiana)
Commonly known as the North American opossum, it is the only marsupial found north of Mexico.

In the United States, it is typically referred to simply as a β€œpossum” (despite the fact that the word β€œpossum” is actually the specific nomenclature assigned for The Common Brushtail Possum, a completely different species native only to Australia.)

This nocturnal animal about the size of a domestic cat is a successful opportunist. It is familiar to many North Americans as it is often seen near towns, and in cities rummaging through garbage cans or playing dead on the streets. These marsupials mostly prefer to fly solo. However, if you’re in the hood and the night is just right, you just might catch a rare glimpse of a Posse of opossums rolling deep down Marcy Ave on the creep; climbing all up in your dumpsters for that paper chase.

I am forever disappointed that a group of opossums is not called a Posse. So I turned to urban dictionary and made it so.

This is the largest Posse of Opossums in North America.

possing

An old fashioned term still used in yorkshire for the act of giving a lady a good hard rooting.

comes from the old-fashioned method of washing clothes in a wash tub. the clothes were pounded and swirled around with the poss stick.

"come 'ere lass 'n' let me give you a possing."

lad: "look at her, would you give her one?"
fella: "aye lad, i'd bend 'er ovver 'n' give her the possin' of her life"

mate1: "what would you give her?"
mate2: "aye she's bonny enough, seven out of ten"
mate1: "hey, what about this one then?"
mate2: "oh aye, a reet good possing is what i'd give her"
