Possibly the most commonly used (and the most irritating) thing to say on the internet that is not a meme.
1;A derogatory word used to express dominance over the chosen target (generally by status).
2; Another way to spell newb, as in newbie, which is not commonly used in an offensive sense or manor.

Someone who does not know how the world works, what is going on, or anything. They aren't as new as annoying. A newbie is someone new but isn't an idiot. A n00b is the most annoying thing on this earth!

Generally found on the internet or any gaming society of any sort. There is an uprising of noobs on Modern Warfare 2. To avoide these people on MW2:
1: Do not go into game chat, but if you do, mute everyone except your friends
2:Do not talk to anyone because this can lead to a noob randomly jumping into your conversation and insultin you, your mother, your pets, anything anf everything.
There are also characteristics of noobs:
1: They are complete douchebags to everyone.
2: They lack skill at a game and scream at you if you kill them
3: They often call other people noobs and refuse to listen to any form of Authority.
Now that you know how to identify a noob, you can have a better gaming experience.
