One of the many infamous Aircraft ever built, designed and manufactured by Fairchild Republic, for the U.S.A.F. the A10 Thunderbolt is a very unique aircraft indeed. Literally built around an Autocannon known as the GAU/8-A, which fires 30mm rounds of Depleted Uranium, Armor Piercing, or High Explosive, at a terrifying fire rate of 2,100 to 4,000 RPM, and heavily armored, plus easy maintenance, it's easy to see why you don't fuck with this thing. A WW2 American Piston Engine Fighter, It was used in both the European and Pacific Theaters of the war. The P-47 was one of the bigger fighter planes of WW2 and was partly known for being able to take a beating. The P-47 Thunderbolt was also Equipped with 8 .50 Caliber Machine Guns and a Option of up to 2,500 lbs of Bombs.
The P-47 was used for a variety of reasons, It could be seen as a fighter escort for B-17 and B-24 bombers or a Ground Attack aircraft peppering the enemy front lines with machine gun fire. The P-47 Was used in action for the entire War and was later retired in 1966 by the Peruvian Air Force.

Its main use is to destroy armored vehicles and ground units. Its body design or airframe was made around the GAU-8, (Gun, Automatic, Utility) which was designed by General Electric. The GAU-8 shoots 65 30mm rounds of American freedom per second. The airframe uses several security measures, such as 1200 pounds of titanium to keep the cockpit and aircraft systems safe.
