Originally a game, but now describes a lifestyle of frivolous attempts to accomplish or attain. In most cases not a conscience act by the participant. Most Americans practice this in one way, shape or form.
My whole life was a trivial pursuit until I found out how to think for myself.

To spit in the face of someone who has just either blatantly disrespected you in public or in front of friends. Said person who's face is now covered in spit does nothing to harm or hurt the person who spit. Just curses and states "me and all my boys are going to fuck you up" while backing away

Trivial Pudding,
the definition of a magnificent jelly but when being tried to be eaten a card will come out of it. If you answer the question on the card correct you will be able to eat a fantastic spoonful of happiness. There are also different card flavors each with a different spice.
