I got a ghetto upgrade on my flight to Bangkok and was able to sleep most of the way.

Hook upgrade

An term of derision. In this situation, a woman regularly hooks up with a man who is only interested in casual sex. The man will either explicitly say that he does not want a romantic relationship, or will repeatedly tell the woman that he is “not sure what he wants”- as a way to defer the subject, or to indirectly tell the woman “no.” But the woman naively believes that if she just sticks it out long enough and shows the man how much she cares for him, a proper relationship will eventually begin. In actuality this will never, ever happen. The “hook upgrade” is the female equivalent of the “gay friend” phenomenon.

Despite several failures, Buffy continues to believe in the possibility of the hook upgrade.

A software upgrade that is somehow not as good as good as the software it replaced.

"I just downloaded the fucked-upgrade of Photoshop and now you can't 'undo', you can only 'step backwards'.

"The new version of such and such trashed my hard drive. That's one fucked-upgrade."

1.: I guess they came up with a new fucked-upgrade to Yahoo! Mail. You DL it?

2.: Nope.

When someone, takes an electronic product, then jizzes in/on it to improve it's "semi-conductance" capabilites: in homage to the great south korean corporation, who initiated this practice.

upgrade regifting

the act of regifting a recieved gift, however an additional five to ten dollars is spent to upgrade the gift to a larger size or better make. this in turn makes the giver feel more better about the regifting.
