A woof is someone who punches a lot of woof-tickets. Although its archaic definition is "someone who is bullshitting," the term has gained several nuances and deviations from its original meaning. Now, the term has come to be synonymous with a “loser.”

The sound emitted from a vehicle when the transmission is placed in neutral and the accelerator is depressed. Used as a form of intimidation among racers, and often misused at inappropriate times by amateurs. Can be amplified with devices such as a glasspack and can be performed while the vehicle is in motion or while it is stopped.

As the last piece of pizza sat lonely in the box, the room became quiet as everyone stared at the last slice. Suddenly, Patrick broke his statueesque pose and dashed for the pizza stuffing it in his mouth. Only to be later criticized as "the woof"
