dime spot

a location (typically a corner, or a house) where a vendor is illegally distributing drugs (often marijuana, may be other substances) in ten dollar lots. Usually a signal is required (a special knock on the door, code words, certain apparel, etc) by the customer, and the vendor responds anonymously by a covert method of delivering the product (a drive to another corner, slipping the product under a door, lowering the product from a window, etc).

I used to get so freaked out when I'd hit up the local dime spots. Aside from getting a ticket from the five o, there was also the chance you'd have some goons try to mug you for money or shit.

RIP DIME

A meme that is frequently used in UG (Ultimate-Guitar). It is used similarly to the meme I Cum Blood. It's usually considered spam (which I disagree upon) and results in a warning.

RIP DIME refers to the greatest guitarist ever from Pantera and Damageplan who got shot onstage by a psycho in 2004. RIP DIME

TS: Hello Pit! I just broke my guitar, what do I do?

You: RIP DIME

nickel and dime

Traditionally used as part of the larger phrase "To be nickled and dimed to death", referring to the undesired price of upkeep for a certain item. More fundamentally, it refers simply to seemingly hidden ongoing expenses which, over time, add up to a large expense.

That POS Ford is nickle and diming me to death.
