Saying by female softball players, distinguishing a player’s sexual orientation by wearing a bow in their hair. If a player wears a bow, then the player is is heterosexual. If the player is without, then the player is into other women. This is a widely known colloquialism throughout the softball community, from high school to recreational leagues.
Lesbian 1: “She’s cute. What’s her name?”
Lesbian 2: “She’s not interested. See the bow in her hair? Bow means no.”

The guys in school who have their own group that is on top of everyone elses stupid version of a group and they know it too. Very hard group to get into; each one of them meaner than the next. Always get the hot girls. Always pretend to not know whats up whos doing who, who sells the best stuff, but they do because usually they are the ones doing it. Almost as mean as 'mean girls'. Groups tend to be 4-7 varies at what schoool. Basically in smaller words, the guys you try to be like and you'll never be.

Meaningless American use of the English language. Often reflective of a complete lack of content in what they are saying - people of average intellect, articulation and education will simply pause and think about what they are saying. Probably due to American television with programs such as “Clueless”, “Legally Blonde” and “the OC”, which depict successful people as not requiring any form of intelligence or decent command of the English language. In real life, these people look stupid, act stupid, and everyone thinks they are stupid. Typically, they fail intelligence tests.
