parents who are asian. many times they will push their kids very hard academically in hopes of them having a good job in the future. unlike most american parents who actually have a sense of reasoning, asian parents always think they are right and will not accept any other answer than a yes. anything but an A on a report card means failure at something, even though on the report card it usually says a B is above average. they are also many times more strict than the average white parent, sometimes not even letting their kids go out partying everyday and al most always thinking about how other people are going to judge them based on the actionas of their child. even though they believe that their actions are the best, it is not always the case. although studying to get that 5.0 in school might get you into a good college to get a slightly better job there are many other things that are sacrificed along the way. some of them including social interactions and good memories. the main problem, as i see it, is that they raise their child as they were raised but in a conpletely different setting causing najor disputes.
Asian kid 1 - Crap i have to do homework for five AP classes and if i get a B my asian parents are gonna kill meee!!
ASian kid 2 - dude just relax, its america. if you defy them for too long they'll leave you alone. now lets go smoke some weed and listen to pink floyd.

a parent who is constantly hovering over(monitoring) thier children while they are at school, much to the annoyance of the princapal and the teachers
To the staff at the school, the helicopter parent is like the commercial for head on.

A censorship sticker, very much like the Seal of Approval that comic books were made to have well into the 70's. It warns parents of possible material that may be considered obcene without any specific details about what is objectionable.
Perpetrated by a censorship lobby consisting of upper middle class conservative white women, such as Tipper Gor, who felt it necessary to police the music industry for messages that were politically or socially inconsistent with their own. This label dampens sales which in turn hampers musical, lyrical, or artistically creativite material.
At its inception the parental advisory sticker targeted mainly such musicians as Frank Zappa but today the target is hip-hop and rappers along with video game creators
My mom didnt let me but the CD because it had a parental advisory sticker, which she said had it like that because it talked about raping women. But later when I listed to it it just was criticizing American and the LAPD.

A generally lenient form of a parent; these people are usually not control freaks but still insert a certain set of rules for a kid to abide by.

White kid: Hey mom, can I go smoke some pot?
White parents: Sure, just make sure you finished your homework!
White kid: Oh yeah, I forgot, I had a stash of powdered heroin in your car, can I use that tonight?
White parents: Yeah, just make sure you come home before 10:00 P.M!

Three events completed in one day involving kids (yours or someone else's) in one or more of three separate events encompassing each of these categories: running/walking/hiking, water sports and use of a manually propelled wheeled vehicle.
I completed a parent triathlon: ran 3.5 miles, swam with the kids, mowed the lawn.

FUCKPARENTS....Parents that hoard their child until they are grown, overprotect them, and when they find independence...force their hand to the one of their choice....and scare any thing else off for fear their grandchild will not be in their control. Its a disease. Stay away from FUCK PARENTS...All they will do is see their grandchildren. They will never see their childs happiness....because they define it, they abuse it, and they only want to be bias and and shallow about having a child and raising a child....

A bi-annual night of stress, guilt and recrimination where stressed out/ tired teachers who have spent the night frantically marking books converse with defensive / stressed parents who feel like they're being judged.
Parent's often don't let on who's mum and dad they are so teachers play a strange kind of guessing game trying to work out which of their pupils could be spawned by this combination of people.
They also can't risk calling them by the same surname of their children as theres a pretty good chance they're different.
Teachers try to be diplomatic and vague whilst parents want answers.
5 hours into a normal Parents' Evening
Teacher: Good Evening. I'm Mr. Blake.
Parent: Hi
Teacher: You must be here to talk about...
Parent: Yeah
4 minutes later
Teacher: (still not 100% who's parent this is)...so definate progress has been made which is pleasing and bodes well for next year...
Parent: (None the wizer but pleased they've not been called bad parents to their faces) Thanks
Teacher: (Lying) Feel free to drop by at any time if you have any concerns.
Parent: (Lying) Thanks I will.
