Cracker

A young, sophisticated and knowledgeable Caucasian with a strong sense of racial identity. Once a seemingly degrading insult used by members of other races to refer to all white people, the term now expresses camaraderie and white pride. Used particularly by the Atlanta-based group, the Cracker Side Nackers.

"Yo, motherfucker, you step of my shoes one more time and all my crackers are ganna throw down on your ass"

Cracker

To describe the whites of America that still conform to the ideology that they are superior to blacks. A term derived from the 'cracking' of a whip in the times of slavery. It is not racist for it does not refer to the colour of skin. It refers to the oppression, and force applied on slaves, used by people who happened to be of white skin. It is used today to define people who perpetuate historical injustices, by failing to address the impact they have on today.

"Man that dude is a cracker, at Harvard and shit"
"Actually, he is not, he wrote an excellent thesis on the positives of affirmative action, and how it benefits society as a whole. We must move forward together as one nation and no longer be a socio-economic fragmented society. We must no longer politically and economically marginalise the Black, Hispanic and Native American communities. America is great, but it could be greater, for we are only as great as our most impovershed peoples.

crackers

Supposed "racist" term referring to white people, because they "cracked" the whip at the slaves. So, if you think about it, its quite a positive term.

Placed in wooden barels and loaded on to wagons destine for Savannah, Macon and Atlanta. The Wagon Masters/Drivers would crack there wips as the Oxin pulled the Heavy loads. The cracking of the Bull wips could be heard for miles around. Hence the name Georgia Crackers. PS, The Wagon Masters or drivers, were mostly men of color.
