when an nba fan is a fan of a specific player only, not the team. His/her loyalty stays true to said player, but jumps from team to team depending on where said player demands a trade to. They are considered a NBA bandwagon fan.
"Yeah man i've always been a lakers fan! That's my team!"
"Shut up man, you're just a Lebron fan. Stop being a NBA bandwagon fan."
an NBA game of the PS5 era of 2K games. They added crossplay, proplay, they fixed the glitchy dribble moves that drippy face scans do, but yet they somehow made it worse by adding Season Pass, and breaking Post Scorers.
Guy: "NBA 2k23 is the definition of mid."
Ronnie 2k: "Let's copy Fortnite's battle pass, and make post scoring unstoppable in NBA 2K24!"
There's always going to be the kind of person that keeps trying to change the entire league around so that the team they want to win doesn't lose, so instead of just seeing playoffs extending almost to the end of summer, you might see games extending to 3 or 4 in the morning one day, and players expected to stay focused and positive, which is a silly expectation.
What they've done with the NBA playoffs now is a good way to fuck with people heads, and that's about all it's good for.
An event that once ended before the summer, which was great, since not everybody wants to watch the most intense part of the season all summer, they're ready for it to get over with so they can enjoy their summer, the season free of sports competitions, bad calls by referees, fights between players, and all the bullshit hype from the media and journalists (no wonder people take vacation in the summer). Not everybody is that desperate to see their team win, it was once good enough if they won in June, and the season was long enough without extending to July, which is silliness. Not anymore though, now people are expected to keep watching until summer is almost over.
Now that the NBA playoffs extend into at least July, players are being told not to think about the beach or vacation, and they're expected to take these kind of silly expectations seriously. It was bad enough last year when the NBA Finals took place at the same time as the World series, and hardly anybody knew or paid attention because it wasn't their top priority, of course.
What you call a person of color online in order to not face banishment or chat restriction. Slang for african american in a public setting.
Gets cut off by a scatpack charger "Nba fans at it again".
