sleeping in a bed with a girl and when things get heated, feet rub together. (no sex involved)
Friend: "So what happened with that girl last night?"
Brett Farve: "Oh you know, we did hardcore cuddling."
Friend: "What the hell is that?"
Brett Farve: "You know when your feet rub. As close to sex as you can get without having sex"
Friend: "hahahaha"

A genre that was started by emo kids that hated other emo kids, but stayed true to the punk and hardcore roots, thereby emerging as one of the greatest genres of music of all time.

A stupid fucking form of "Dancing", that hardcore/scene kids do to make themselves seem tough, even though if they went to a Metal(real) show they'd get there asses kicked immediatly for being so fucking stupid. These kids always say they could take on a metal person...Bullshit!!! There might be a possibility if they were a 8 year old girl with pigtails and a skinned knee.
I might go to a hardcore show with some of my friends just to beat the shit out of these hardcore dancing fucks.

Benn around since the early 1990s evolving from rave music. Toke on after 93/94 when split off from Jungle and uses speed up vocals, breakbeats, 4/4 kickdrum and bouncy techno. Went out after 1999 when people lost intrest and now littles is made as club music has taken over. The best Hardcore now is freeform.
Now considered chav music, they say they like Happy Hardcore but really only like the stuff off Raver Baby and by DJ Rankin and have never heard any real Happy Hardcore or Freeform.
Happy Hardcore was at it's peak in 1996.
Chavs toke over in 2000.
Now Hardcore is being mistaken for being pop music on fast forwards.

A lesser known form of expression/dancing is hardly considered by most to be a form of dancing at all. However, this is irrelevant considering it IS a form of dancing, just to a heavier form of music. Hardcore dancing (AKA "Throwing Down") is most commonly seen at Hardcore shows which shows appreciation or approval for the bands playing. It is basically a mix of the crowd punching and kicking the air. (with the exception of 2 steps.) Although it make look like random, uncontrolled flailing, it is anything but. Hardcore dancers (or just "dancers" as known at shows) often have different styles of which they prefer to perform. Examples of hardcore dancings moves would be "Spin-kicks", "Windmills", "Two Step", among others. Other types of "hardcore appreciation/expression" at shows consist of sing alongs, pile ons (like sing alongs except on a massive level, hence: pile on) and crowd punching(a less approved form of dancing where the dancer accidently or intentional dances into the crowd hitting bystanders, this is where much of the disapproval of hardcore dancing spawns. AKA: Bottlecapping)Often associated with crews, Hardcore dancing isn't for everyone. As you can see on this website, many people approve of it and many disapprove of it. I, myself, am an avid supporter of hardcore dancing and do it at every show. (though I do not crowd punch, people have the right to just watch the band if they want to, they don't have to get hit.)

n) (Also known as "hxc piano" or simply "hxcp"). Certain moments in songs when the artist breaks the song down to a piano riff that is, well, irrevocably hardcore. Similar to "air guitar" only incalculably more hardcore. Applicable to those moments in certain (trance) songs in which the artist (Rob Mayth, or possibly DJ Roxx) breaks it down to a piano melody that is incredibly legit, incredibly hardcore, and incredibly synthesized. You find yourself unable to do anything but play along and comment to those around you about the hardcoreness you are experiencing.
"Dude, Weekend has Come has far too much hardcore piano... I'm not sure I can do this while driving."
"When I listen to Baby I Love Your Way by Rob Mayth I find myself incapable of not breaking into the good old hardcore piano... I just can't help it."
Dude 1: "What happened to Horatio?"
Dude 2: "Oh, he died..."
Dude 1: "That sucks, how?"
Dude 2: "He was listening to Rob Mayth and driving fast, and that hxcp came on and, well, you know the rest...."
