A chain to which a new link is added daily, and onto each link the happiest part of the day is written upon in any form at all. Fragments, sentences, pictures, doodles, whatever.
Look back on it. It reminds you of the happy memories you've had. It's marvelous.

To conjure the thought of one thing that reminds you of another. Which creates an ongoing process either to eventually return to the thought at hand or move onto something completely different.
Thinking that your thirsty, leading to what you want, to what brand, to what brand you like better, leading to another brand of something completely different such as clothes, than what brand you like, leading to you want to shop, than thinking of money that you dont have, leading to you need a job, etc etc
when i wanted to shop, chain-thinking went into effect and i forgot i had no money and needed a job.

These are often difficult to remove (and/or forgotten) after a night of drinking, and are frequently removed the day after clubbing. They are sometimes worn as badges--proudly, yet silently, proclaiming that you got shitfaced in a public location the night before.

Based on the Coolidge Effect where men or women exhibit sexual interest whenever a new partner is introduced. The Coolidge chain refers to the prior partners someone has had due to complying to the Coolidge Effect.

A group of guys (usally frat pledges) strip naked and stand in a circle. They each put one thumb in their mouth, and the other thumb up the guy's ass in front of them. They then all start walking forward in a circle at the same time. If someone's thumb falls out of the ass in front of them, they must switch thumbs, and put the now shitty thumb in their mouth.
Fear of this, causes each man to be shoving his thumb up the man's ass in front of him with great force, causing great discomfort!
I really wanted to get into the frat at school, so I pledged. They made us do an ELEPHANT CHAIN as hazing for initiation.
I kind of liked it, so they said I'd fit right in the Greek life! I can't wait to play Gookie Cookie, participate in circle-jerks, and get spanked!
