sugar tunes

Well, I'm not sure exactly what this means, but Dan Balan (previously from O-zone) took the song Dragostea Din Tei (otherwise known as "The Numa Numa Song"), rewrote it in American rock format, and decided it would be cool to change the chorus to "sugar tunes from nowhere saved my day", rather than leaving that first line as "vrei sa pleci dar nu ma nu ma iei". Personally I find that kind of stupid and a great way to ruin an already-on-the-verge-of-oveplay-age song that still had a bit of life let in it.

I refuse to listen to Sugar Tunes Numa Numa by Dan Balan. Go listen to O-zone or something.

Auto-Tune

An audio correcting program used by artists like T-Pain, Kanye West, Ron Browz, Lil' Wayne, etc. Most people believe that these artist use Auto-Tune because they cannot sing. But most Hip-Hop artist use this tool to give a new flavor to their music.

"Yo, I want to give my music sort of a futuristic, distorted kind of spice to it."
"Auto-Tune is your answer, sir.

Banging tunes

A song that is loved by many on a huge scale. For example most of the music from 1999-2009 is classed in this category. The song 'where is the love' by the black eyed peas would be classed as a banging tune (TBH all black eyed peas songs are banging tunes.) but some songs are good just not quite to the level of banging that we might hope. Today's music will never amount to that of the past. It was a sad day for me when I spoke to a child who knew who iggy azalea was but had never heard of s club 7. What is the world coming to?

more examples of banging tunes:
Fergalicious-Fergie
Bootylicious-Destiny's child
Hips don't lie-Shakira
Stacy's Mom-Fountains of Wayne

Goon Tunes

Rap music that appeals to Goons, the lyrics are laced with profane language, horrible grammar, ghetto slang, and other obscenities. The message of the song is always the same, the singer boasts about how how they overcame their harsh upbringing, their wealth, aggressiveness to others, sexual relations with loose women, and everything else that nobody gives a damn about.

The main audience of these songs are ghetto, aggressive, rude, ignorant African Americans.

As Tyrone burst through the door he shouted, "See a fuck nigga, shoot a fucknigga"! in an atrociously loud voice. He had a firm grip on his groin as he walked to his cliche of goons, but it was not enough to prevent his britches from sagging well below his waste. One could argue that it was due to the overwhelming weight of his "swag", or it could be his ignorance. You choose, but I'm going with the latter.

You might call me a racist, but I am black. And not all music is the same. The corruption of today's African American youth can definitely be connected to the epidemic of Goon Tunes.

Tune Whore

1. Someone who is always on the tune, and goes from person to person with it. In extreme cases, a tune whore may be tuning one person one day, and then may move on to another the next day.

2. Someone who, whenever talking to someone of the opposite sex (or whatever gender they are attracted to), will always appear to be flirting with or tuning them. This kind of tune whore will often deny it.

Girl 1: I met this guy called Tom at the well yesterday, and he was definitely tuning me... I think I'm in!
Girl 2: Hey! When I went to the well on Saturday there was a Tom who was tuning me, too!
Girl 1: Damn it! He must be a tune whore. I really thought he was decent...
