A yard truck is a truck that is not roadworthy, or registered, will not pass inspection, and is only used off road. Typically used in the yard to haul junk around. You can find them at almost any wrecking yard with shirtless toothless wonders behind the wheel.

A term used by broadcast professionals meaning that almost all wires will be run with the male end going into the truck. For triax, bnc, xlr, etc. Except for program returns and intercom feeds.
