Ok, maybe I am a person with absolutely nothing better to do but write shit about the bands I hate, and I hate My Chemical Romance. I think they are definently not unique and they sound exactly like every other mofo on MTV. They are most definently not "punwk rawk" like most of you would describe it and yes, they are emo. Their music is emo. EMO!!! Not "punwk rawk" ok?
Go listen to Sublime, Rancid, Ramones, or any other real bands. please.

A "violent pop" (as the band itself says)band that makes really good music. People may say oh they're so emo. Well, I'd like to see you fucking prove it! They make music that saves lives! Most people haven't updated lately so I'll fill you in ;)

The band's music style has changed quite a bit in sound but they still rock all the same. The new CD is well worth having! I can always come home from a bad day and blast MCR from my speakers and feel like nothing can stop me when I finish all three CDs (even though only one song will still do the job)
So, all you ridiculing dip shits and hippocrates can shut up because you know, no other band in the world can amount to MCR and what they stand for (Mcr is = to Metallica in my book) Just not a legend yet cuz they've only been around a few years but when the days comes that they stop playing beacuse they've grown old... that's the day that they live on by word of fans and the CDs will still play everywhere

My Chemical Romance
My Chemical Romance is a band from New Jersey, whom grew up on the same types of music as your parents. Social Distortion, KISS, Queen, David Bowie, Iron Maiden, Twisted Sister; things that were big in the times that they were kids. What makes them "emo" or "goth"? Because they have a particular liking to the color black or morbid objects and themes? Bullshit. That just makes them a tad dark, not "emo fags who whine about how their lives suck". If you say that, you're a dumbshit. Gerard himself, as have the rest of the band, have said numerous times that they aren't emo, nor goth. If anything, if we were to label them, they would be violent pop or violent alternative music.
Gerard and Bert are not dating, nor have they ever. In fact, they aren't even friends anymore. They are just two guys who met while playing and singing the things that they love. What makes them different from every other rock band? If you think that Twisted Sister or KISS are "great rock bands", and think that My Chemical Romance is a "gay, fag-like band" because of the fact that they wear make up--then you're a retard. Ever heard of HAIR METAL? Or SEEN the make up KISS wears!
Frank is not "gay for Gerard". He's engaged, for heaven's sake! Just because they give slight pecks-of-a-kiss does not make them a gay couple. It's for jokes and giggles, and for the fans because that's what they want. THAT, and it's a free country to be bisexual, so saying, "I would date Gerard," should be okay and not "offensive". But, same as before, with the make up and the hair metal statement; bands like KISS and such played on fans' very emotions like that, too. Watch a live preformance, or something.
Have you ever seen them live? I have. Gerard himself talks about this subject on why people try to label them emo. They're doing what they love to do, play their own music. Who cares if it's dark? "Good rock" and "punk" talks about getting shitfaced and having sex, the government and death. Get over yourselves if you think they're emo. They're not. They're just guys doing what they love.
And, you know what? Listen to the "good" rock bands talk on interviews, and such. Listen to them and their theories about modern day rock bands. I've heard several about My Chemical Romance, and they were all good. GOOD! They don't have a problem with them, so why do you?
And, please. Don't say you want "their babies" or "to rape them" unless you're completely and utterly joking. It gets old, and I'm sure they hear it every day.
My Chemical Romance is not an emo band, but a group of guys doing what they love; playing music. What makes them any different from the bands you grew up on? Not much. Maybe a tad more make up depending on if you were a fan of KISS or Twisted Sister, or Scorpion, but that's about it. Get over yourselves. If you don't like them, don't listen to them.

A band that started in 2001 and, sadly, ended in 2013. They are considered to be part of the "Emo Trinity": Fall Out Boy, Panic! Ar The Disco, and My Chemical Romance. However, they are not actually emo. They have four really amazing albums out: "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love", "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge", "The Black Parade", and "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys". The band had five official members: Gerard Way, Frank Iero, Mikey Way, Ray Toro, and Bob Bryar. Bob left in 2010. Their fans are technically called "Killjoys". MCR is freaking amazing, and that's that. So long and goodnight.
