house of the dead

A pretty good videogame shooter series made by SEGA. Could have been better if they had decent voice actors.

A shitty movie that bears the same name but has a boring plot, a VERY low budget, useless actors, tons of cliches, and even worse voice acting. Slightly worse than the Final Fantasy movie, which royally sucked too.

If you want House of the Dead, STAY AWAY FROM THE MOVIE! Just play the videogame series instead. At least that has more interaction since you get to shoot the zombies yourself.

honkey house

A home made up of at least three (3) Caucasian residents (and only Caucasian residents) in a primarily black neighborhood. These "honkeys" are very white, but will attempt to camouflage into the surroundings by spending a lot of time on their porch, using phrases like "mmm hmm decent", and giving patrol cars the middle finger as they pass by slowly on the street.

Have you been the the honkey house in Manayunk??? Those crackers know how to throw a party!

Educational House

Educational house (edu house for short) is a genre of house music created by DJ Kronotrope. This is essentially house music that doubles up as an educational tool by imparting valuable knowledge to specialist groups and/or the general public through song.

Songs have been used as a medium for imparting knowledge for centuries. Though inferior in many respects to more traditional forms of learning, they remain especially potent for delivering small pieces of important information โ€“ especially the kind that needs to be memorised. This is because most songs contain loops. Usually, melodies constitute such loops; but for many songs with vocals, even lyrics loop. Looped lyrics assail the listener's mind and 'drill the information into one's head', so to speak.

Edu house songs can belong to any subgenre of house music, but must satisfy the conditions listed below:

1. The song qualifies as house music (this includes of all accepted subgenres such as progressive, electro, deep, and tech)
2. The knowledge imparted is valuable
3. The knowledge is 100% factually correct based on authoritative sources such as recognised academic journals
4. The knowledge imparted is not revisable within the foreseeable future
5. The song features no adult content (e.g. songs about sex and drugs cannot qualify as edu house).

Enjoy!

1. I was dancing to this tune last night while I was drunk, and all of a sudden, I know all the actions of the acetylcholine! I was really drunk too! I must have been listening to some educational house!

2. Educational house is so useful for memorising the twenty causes of digital clubbing!

house park

A suburban area of houses, where it resembles a trailer park. It has a sign at the entrance for the name like a trailer park, if you enter you get hopelessly lost because none of the roads meet or go straight like a trailer park , all the houses look similar like a trailer park, and usually the people that live there are up to their ears in debt, not like people in a trailer park. SEE ALSO SUBDIVISION.

house of cards

metaphor pertaining to something of a fragile or volatile nature.

-from an old past-time of standing up playing cards together in the form of a house, this "structure" can fall apart at any time from the slightest action (e.g. an air current).

"We must plan this campaign implementing maximum precision, else it will disintegrate into a house of cards."
