Field of Wheat

Metaphor

-The term used to describe a situation when one is found completely surrounded by women with long radiant hair, most of whom blonde.

As you never expect to be fully surrounded by attractive women, one is usually taken by surprise as you would coming upon a large clearing or meadow; thus, likening the brilliant golden hair to a field of wheat.

"It was so windy, I showed up to class just before it started and found the first seat I could. As soon as I looked up from my bag, I found myself sitting in a Field of Wheat dude.. So many blondes"

Field Day

One day out of the week (generaly Thursday) when you are forced to clean everything in your room or squad bay like it was fresh out of the department store. Your work is then inspected by someone with higher rank (who's house has probably never been "field day'd") and it is this persons responsibility to find any spec of dust, wrinkled sheets, and/or pubic hair in and around the most ridiculous places you could imagine.

JJ: We have field day tonight.

Sean: What? Tell everyone I died man, I'm dipping out!

field general

A field general refers to any player in any sport that, when on the field, acts as a leader for his team. He's the one that others turn to for direction, and often he is the one either calling plays or relaying them from the coaches.

In football, this player tends to be the quarterback on offense and the middle linebacker on defense; both are generally regarded as the most cerebral on their side of the ball.

In basketball, the term is "floor general", and it is almost always the point guard. They are the ones calling plays and directing traffic in transition.

Examples of field generals in football include Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Ray Lewis.

Examples of floor generals include Isiah Thomas, and more recently Derek Fisher and Chris Paul.

field goal

Two men stand up facing each other, their penises touching tip to tip. A third man stands adjacent to the other men. The third man then proceeds to beat off trying to shoot his load in between the other men who are essentially the posts thus completing the field goal.

"Hey Rick, wanna kick a field goal? Me and Bobby will be the posts."

Citi Field

Citi Field is the name of the new stadium for the New York Mets. In 2006, Citigroup Inc. paid $400 million for the naming rights, the most expensive sports-stadium naming rights agreement ever.
Located just steps from the old venue (Shea Stadium), Citi Field is currently under construction, and will be ready by Opening Day 2009.
Though smaller than Shea, CF will have more amenities and luxuries, such as wider seats, more restaurants, more elevators, and a state-of-the-art entrance to be named The Jackie Robinson Rotunda. The stadium was to be the Olympic Stadium had NYC won its bid to host the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, but London ended up winning the competition.
Attending a game at Citi Field will be more expensive than one at Shea. Everything from the game ticket, parking spaces and food will increase in price by 2009. This will occur despite the fact that Met fans already spend the most per game than any other fans in the MLB National League. Because of this, as well as discontent with the mediocre design of the stadium, many fans have begun to refer to the venue as "Shiti Field."

P1: "So what do you think about the new Citi Field?"
P2: "I think it's shitty, or shall I say, Shiti."
P3: "Why?"
P2: "Because I can't afford it."
