The Hat Rule

The absolute 100% accurate observation that anyone wearing a hat, any head covering by definition, while operating a motor vehicle is a horrible driver and is within moments of doing some stupid, dangerous, inconsiderate or a combination of.... Within moments.
A hat within this definition is literally any head covering, from caps to wigs to turbans, yalmulkas, tupees, hoodie, literally anything.
This rule was first observed by Nemat B who passed it to his daughter who passed it on to me as a teenager. C. 1987

6 week rule

when a buddy is goin out with a chick and she dumps him you have to wait 6 weeks or untill he gives you the all clear.

bobby likes sarah, why doesnt he just ask her out? sarah went out with bobby's friend jim, so hes waiting for the 6 week rule to expire.

5 minute rule

If you are 5 minutes late or 5 minutes early. it does NOT count as late/early because everyones clock or watch runs a few minutes different from another person.

I was 4 minutes late to the dentist but considered "on time" when the receptionist said "it's okay 5 minute rule" and then I waited in the waiting room for 5 minutes but the doctor was not considered late.

20-80 Rule

In any nightclub in America you go to, 20 percent of the guys there are getting 80 percent of the action. The other 80 percent of the guys are usually too chicken shit to do anything but watch the hot girls dance while sipping on their drinks and getting horny.

Always remember the 20-80 rule when you go out.
