the invisible yet all-powerful shield that protects all babies the pictures of whom have been posted on facebook from any negative comments, no matter how ugly the babies really look.
A: look at this picture of her daughter - that is one ugly baby.
B: yea, but there are 10 comments underneath that picture claiming this is the cutest baby ever.

on Facebook, a trusted friend you ask (as a favor to you) to say hello- or send any other messages- on your behalf to another Facebook user who either deleted their account or doesn't want to talk to you on Facebook.
My friend Steven actually invented the phrase Facebook communication vessel when I asked him to say hello on my behalf to another common friend of ours who didn't want to talk to me and Steven refused.

1. People who you add on social network websites likeFacebook for the sole purpose of using them to get benefits from their games such as Farmville, Cafe World, etc.
2. Someone you added on Facebook so that others will think more highly of you because of the association.
Minutes after that bombshell Rachel added me on Facebook I recieved a neighbour request for Farmville. We must be facebook friends with benefits.
Now that I've added the band members of Killswitch Engage on my facebook, noone will think I'm a loser anymore! =D

the act of removing "friends" from your Facebook account every spring due to them not being your friend. Every school year leads to a build up of people on your Facebook account that you don't really know nor like, leading to an end year "purge" event known as Facebook spring cleaning.
Wow, I 'unfriended' almost 200 people during that Facebook spring cleaning.
