State of 'Meh'

The state of existence when you realise life is meaningless, and come to terms with the pointlessness of existence.

In this state, you are neither happy nor sad- Just content in the knowledge the the trivial, materialistic problems of the world do not matter because eventually everything will come to an end and be forgotten.

Key premise:

We work in order to pay for things which we use to survive.
Yet our existence only means having to work and pay for things.
Therefore we are in an endless cycle of meaninglessness.

"I'm worried you're depressed"
"No, I'm just in a state of 'meh'"

citizen of a State

1. Recognized in the Constitution of the United States of America at Sec 1, Cla 1 of the 14th Amendment and Art IV, Sec 2, Cla 1.

2. Thus, in any State of the Union, there are two State citizens, a citizen of a State, under Art IV, Sec 2, Cla 1 of the Constitution, and also a citizen of a State (and a citizen of the United States), under Sec 1, Cla 1 of the 14th Amendment:

β€œThe bill filed in the Circuit Court by the plaintiff, McQuesten, alleged her to be β€˜a citizen of the United States and of the State of Massachusetts, and residing at Turner Falls in said State,’ while the defendants Steigleder and wife were alleged to be β€˜citizens of the State of Washington, and residing at the city of Seattle in said State.’ β€œ Statement of the Case, Steigledger v. McQuesten: 198 U.S. 141 (1905).

β€œThe averment in the bill that the parties were citizens of different States was sufficient to make a prima facie case of jurisdiction so far as it depended on citizenship.” Opinion, Id, at 142.

3. The only difference between them is that a citizen of a State, under Art IV, Sec 2, Cla 1 of the Constitution, is one born in a State of the Union; that is a native born citizen:

β€œJoseph A. Iasigi, a native born citizen of Massachusetts, was arrested, February 14, 1897, on a warrant issued by one of the city magistrates of the city of New York, as a fugitive from the justice of the State of Massachusetts.” Iasigi v. Van De Carr: 166 U.S. 391, at 392 (1897).

Usage

I am a citizen of a State; under Article IV, Section 2, Clause 1 of the Constitution of the United States of America, domiciled in the State of California.

I am a citizen of a State; under Section 1, Clause 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment, residing in the State of Georgia.

penn state

Located in Happy Valley, this small town has a big campus. The students are more than half the population when school is in session and the town is the third largest in PA when it is a football weekend. Don't forget to stop by the creamery, Lion Shrine and say hey to Joe Pa who walks campus every day. We can study, party and drink with the best of them, we just know how to do them all without overloading.

state job

Being employed to provide a public service at half the cost of a private contractor while being criticized by citizens who's grasp of the inner workings of state government entails the 45 minutes they wait in line to get their drivers license renewed.

Man, the worst thing about having this state job is being bashed by high school dropouts jealous of my 5 figure income.
