Ground Zero

Lots of people dont know it, but ground zero is also a music festival of harder styles of music. Hardcore music, Terror, Hardstyle, its all to be heard there. its a festival in the Bussloo area in the Netherlands and its being held once every year.

1. Which festival are you going to visit next year, Defqon 1, or Ground zero? or Both?

2. I think I will visit Ground zero because its at night, and Defqon 1 is too soft for me.

Ground-Hogging

When you have to poop really bad, but you are forced to hold it, and you feel like you are about to poop yourself.

Ground Pounder

A vehicle outfitted with massive amounts of audio gear, with a large emphasis on the sub-stage. Usually running many thousands of watts on multiple large subwoofers. These cars are usually walled off and tuned really low.

Most are capable of hitting more than 155dB and have large battery banks and multiple high-output alternators so they can maintain that level all day long. These rides are usually capable of moving tons of air and can preform hairtricks and floating objects in the windows while slowly tearing the bodywork to shreds. They are equally impressive to look at as they are to hear.

"Did you make it to the show last weekend?"
"Hell yeah, there were at least a dozen guys that brought their Ground Pounders out. I got dozens of demos and a couple hours of awesome footage."

kiss the ground

A metaphor for a plane you're riding on to land at its destination, particularly on a return flight after being somewhere far away or terrible.

I've been in St. Louis for a week and I can't wait to kiss the ground back at National Airport in the DC area.
