Rule 34 is internet slang for porn. Basically, if it exists, there's porn of it. If you don't know what porn is you're too young to be searching this.

Fleeting Demographic Rule

1. A gimmick or storyline may be reused freely and safely after a few years of dormancy.

2. The unwritten rule that, after a given number of years, there has been enough turnover in the fanbase that a writer can re-use the same gimmicks and storylines with impunity.

The fleeting demographic rule allows YouTubers to reuse jokes and catchphrases after they have become repetitive.

The two week rule

When someone makes out with someone for more than 3 times in different occasions, the person must wait 2 weeks to make out with a different person to respect the other person's feelings.

I want to hook up with Josh tonight but I have to respect the two week rule so I do not hurt his best friend feelings

Bike/Horse Rule

A principle invoked when urging someone to persevere despite initial failure, which fully stated is: "You don't need me to remind you, when things don't go well the first time, try again." So named because it is drawn from two familiar premises: (a) persevering is like riding a bike, you never forget how, and (b) when you fall off a horse, you get right back on and give it another go.

My nephew just failed the bar a second time and was ready to hang it up, but I reminded him of the Bike/Horse Rule and told him to sign up for the thing again, he'll get it.

2 message rule

The act of sending no more than two messages until a reply is given by your romantic interest so as to avoid looking desperate and needy.

Ezreal: I've sent her 8 messages but she's ignoring me!
