A scouse term used in the North-West of England, particularly Merseyside as a descriptor for something that you find exciting or pleasant.
"That bird I was speaking to last night was power."
"The new Dave tune is power."
Power in the hands of someone too weak to not kill with it is no good to anybody (including the one who's hands it's in) , that's like giving a baby the keys to a car and expecting it not to get wrecked.
I would have said "whim" but whatever
Hym "If they worship a God it is a God of whim and is a flippant and careless creature and power only exists in-so-far-as it can be used to exercise this whim...."
But... That IS what you're doing. You're doing exactly that and pretending you're not....
Hym "Doesn't look like you're subordinated by some kind of higher-order abstraction to me. Looks like you're using power and nothing else."
Money may get you power but it won’t get you respect and people need to learn that
‘I want to be looked up to and liked by everyone else, I want that power.’
